Until 2019, social media and internet technology has been growing so rapidly and it made our life so much more useful but at the same time, social media is killing so much people in the world. It becoming hard for people to limit their time of use on their smartphone devices especially younger generation.
Globally, influencers, teenagers and younger people in general are committing suicide because of social media. Teenagers start to have their own smartphone devices in middle school and automatically they start using social media around that time in 2019 just because all your friends have one without knowing they are stepping into something pretty big.
For generation Z, they grow their friendship on social media, so if you don’t have social media account, it makes them think that it would be so hard to build same friendship like everybody else does. When they start using social media at such a early phase of their lives, it’s not only bad for your mental health, but also dangerous.
On SNS, anybody can reach you in both good and bad way. There are lots of creeps out there trying to take advantage of young girls when they are not aware of the real danger. Some people find significant other on SNS and starts to meet strangers in real life.

One of the biggest problems for young people to use SNS is that it’s not healthy to star using SNS when their brain is not fully developed and when they are not fully capable to judge the right decision. Many SNS platforms are adding new services to avoid bully, but that cannot just immediately solve the core problem.
We are living in the generation where we need social media or messaging app to communicate with each other. It is important for parents to educate their children about the right way to use SNS.
