There was a research about influencer marketing and consumer’s current relationship status and the result is pretty surprising. When consumers pick and purchase beauty product, the most important key is “skin type” (82%) and followed by that, “price” (64%) is the next.

The way consumers purchase is mostly at the store, but since internet and SNS is the new best way to advertise, there are new ways that consumers find and buy products, which is marketing (advertisement) and technology.

39% of consumers said that they do some research on internet about the product that they are interested in before they purchase. On the other hand, only 9% of consumers do research from influencer’s post and recommendation. Influencer marketing in trending and best way to run social media marketing, but as I see the result, I believe that consumers are half in doubt about influencer’s post and recommendation.

We know that 67% of them are actually make actions after seeing advertisement on video platform. And more than half of the consumers answered that they would love to try simulation experience when they purchase beauty products.
