There is an election in Japan on the 21st and Instagram decided to add the stamp says “voted” to raise the awareness for young generation and share their thoughts on social media platform.
This function first started when election happened in the US in last November and this is the first time for Japan.
How to?
Super simple. Swipe right to start story function and choose the picture you want to post. Then tap stamp icon and choose the “voted” stamp and put it on the picture.
After posting, when you tap the stamp, you can see go to the official government website about election.

The stamp was designed by art university student monet.
To gain the sympathy from young generation, he used anime vibe and designed the stamp.
This “voted” stamp was already used in 5 countries which is US, Australia, Indonesia, India and EU. In addition, more than 1,000 people used “voted” stamp in just one second when it used in the US.
