Instagram queen Selena Gomez reveals she doesn’t have Instagram on her phone

Selena Gomez; She has more than 150 million followers on her Instagram and known as one of people who has most followers on Instagram. Before Ariana Grande overtake the ranking, but until then Selena was the one who has most-followed woman on Instagram.

Recently she revealed that she keeps the app off of her phone. During the interview, she answered the question ” do you go online and engage with your fans?”

“I used to a lot, but I think it’s just become really unhealthy, I think personally, for young people including myself, to spend all of their time fixating on all these comments and letting this stuff in, and it was affecting me,”

“I have it on someone else’s phone and when I feel like I want to share something with my fans or just mess around with it, I do it then.”

She also said that it’s not that healthy to be on social media all the time and care about what people say on the comment.

“I noticed with me, I got kind of depressed looking at these people who look beautiful and amazing, and it would just get me down a lot,” she added. “Taking breaks is really important. Just know that most of it isn’t real. And I hate to say that, I don’t mean to be rude, but it’s very unrealistic in a lot of ways.”

Speaking of social media, fashion model and sister of Kardashians, Kendal Jenner also said that she deleted all the social media apps on her phone and tried Digital detox.  Lots of people already know that social media is unhealthy for our mental health, but it’s hard to stop once we used to it.
