As you can see, the hashtag #hawaii has more than 30 million posts and even if your post was in top section, it’s easy to get flow very fast. What you can do it to find low-key hashtag that is related to your post and try to be the top posts in that category. For example, low-key hashtag related to #hawaii could be #oahulife which is way less number (106K) than #hawaii (30M) but still there are lots of traffic for sure.
