There are 2 types of business. The first one is when you master a skill, build a community around it, learn how to sell your skill and just scale after. For example, youtube. Start a YouTube channel, scale your channel, build a community around it, and launch your course about how to scale a youtube channel and that’s how real money come from YouTube. Second type of business is when you make a platform that allows other people to make money. For example, amazon. Amazon is a massive EC platform that allows seller to make money by using that platform.
Second type of business is when you can target billions of dollars. Uber, YouTube, Instagram and all the social media platform and marketplace is the second type of business.
When you just starting your first business, it’s important to master skill first and then second target the second type of business.

Like I mentioned as a first type of business, if you know some skills better than most of people or if you master skills that you’re good at and there is demand, what you should do is to make online course. For example, if you have big followers on your SNS account, you can teach people how to grow your social media account. If you know how to scale a business, teach and someone who is starting a business.
So if you’ve mastered a skill already and willing to share it with other people and start an online course, now is the best time to start.
2. Home cleaning company
People have less and less time to clean and take care of their home. Matching cleaning service could be god option to start in 2019.
3. Meal prep and delivery
Everybody wish that they could eat homemade healthy food everyday while they’re eating frozen food or restaurant oily foods. It’s impossible to ask your mom to come visit your place and cook for you everyday, so here it is, meal prep and delivery. I mean how cool would that be to have deliver homemade healthy food at your door every few days?
So start expanding network of cooker and clients and scale it. I believe it’s a great with a lot of potential
4. Bike renting and scooters
Scooter business started last year and they had lots of problems with laws and regulations, but 2 companies acquired and they have both acquired for over a billion dollars and they raised 200 million.
If you’re a small shop selling scooters or bikes, the market itself has grown 73% in the last 10 years. So either you’ll profitable business, or you get acquire by big company.
5. Personal trainers and instructors
On online, you have so many opportunities to train people from all over the world. For example, even gym trainer could be online. Instructors just have to record 30-50 workout videos that clients can play whenever they want to do exercise and they can make money without physically being there. Pre-recorded course is the future.
