Dog Instagrammer who get paid $16000 per post?!

Dogs and their owners are now making money by posting pictures on Instagram.

The management company based in New York called “The Dog Agency” is supporting dog influencers who has more than 50K followers. And the CEO, Mr Edwards, says that the dog influencers are in high demand and will be more and more.

Mr Edwards continues “We all love animals. They makes us happy. And most importantly they’re safe. They don’t say stuff about politics and they don’t get wasted at the party.” Meaning, dog influencers are skim the cream compare with human influencers.

According to The Dog Agency  website, they work with not only dogs but also cats, monkeys, and other 160 different animal influencers and connected to such big name companies like Dyson, 20 century fox, google and so on.

Mr Edward’s clients have average followers of 10K – 20K and average cost per post is around $2000 – $3000. Influencers who has more than 100K followers would cost $10000 – $18000 per post average. And this price is higher than human influencer’s compensation since they get paid around $7500 for 100K followers.

The author of the book “Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand in the Age of Social Media” Mr Hennessy shared his experience using animal influencer marketing in the book says that he paid $36000 for 2 facebook posts, 1 instagram post, and 1 twitter post.

Wow, it must be fun and quick way to make money for owners.

Mr Hennessy also states that influencer marketing’s market size will grow to $50M – $100M by 2020. He also added that the top influencers are making around $560000 on instagram itself.

“The most important thing is not money and that’s part of our job to let the owner know. We do it to give the opportunity for the owners and dog to build deeper, meaningful experience together. This pet influencer phenomenon is spreading since the time I started my company it’s sad because some people do it to force their pets just for money” says Mr Edward”
